Denham Springs High School (DSHS) is a high school located in Denham Springs, Louisiana. It is part of the Livingston Parish school system and is over 120 years old.

DSHS is located adjacent to Denham Springs Freshman High.

DSHS has about 21 clubs and more than 7 sports. Denham High has 2 parking lots, 2 gyms and about 10 halls of classrooms.

Profile

DSHS is the largest school in Livingston Parish and considered to be a high performing school. It contains a wide variety of AP and high academic programs, as well as career and technical programs. The FFA organization is considered to be the top leadership development program in the area. The club's parliamentary procedure team won three of the last four state titles and placed in the top five in the nation twice. Advisors Gary Jones and Cheryl Page are considered to be among the best in the business.

Sports

DSHS is home to the Lady Jackets' bowling team. They were crowned state champions for four consecutive years. The softball team has also won four state championships, finishing as the Louisiana 5A State runner Up in 2014. Football, however, is the fan and student favorite, drawing crowds of over 5,000 on fall Friday nights in Yellow Jacket Stadium.
